Willie Mozell Summey, 67, of South Tennessee Street, Cartersville, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003.

Mrs. Summey was born December 2, 1935 in Bartow County, a daughter of the late Charlie W. and Willie Lou Morris Benson.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Cartersville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband, Milton Kent Summey, daughters and sons-in-law, Charlene S. and Tim Agan of Cartersville, Angela S. and Bruce Buckley of Cartersville; brothers, Allen Benson of Cartersville, Charles Franklin Benson of Cartersville; grandchildren, Jessica Summey, Adrian Wehunt, Jacob Wehunt, Lauran Agan, Catherine Agan and Baylor Agan.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2003, from the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Dr. Howard Merritt officiating.  Interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Serving as pall bearers will be members of the Cartersville Shiners’ Club, Harold Rich, Thomas Lorenzo Powell, William E. Cantrell, Larry Cline, Richard Elrod and Home Lee Pritchett.
