At a Ripe Old Age.

Mrs. Sarah Stegall died at the home of her son, Mr. John P. Stegall, at Emerson, on Thursday last. She was in her 92d year. She was the widow of the late Mr. Emsley Stegall, and mother of John P. Stegall, of Emerson, and R. B. Stegall, of Chattanooga.

Mrs. Stegall had been very feeble for some time.

She was a pious good woman and for many years past had expressed herself as ready to depart at any time.

She, with her husband, was among the pioneer settlers of this section and she could remember instances in the long ago that few others living could bear witness to.

Her remains were interred beside those of her husband in the old Stegall burying ground, near where she died.
