Death of Mrs. Smalley.

Died, on the 1st instant, 7 ½ o’clock, P. M., at Pine Log at the residence of her parents, Dr. H. W. and S. T. Fite, Mrs. Laura A. Smalley, aged 27 years, four months and ten days.  She leaves a husband, four little children and many relatives and friends who loved her dearly, to mourn her death.  Mrs. Smalley was a kind and affectionate daughter and sister, an ever faithful and loving wife and mother and a devout Christian and member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church.  She died as she had lived, a Christian, and has entered into that rest that “remaineth for the people of God.”
