Death of Mr. T. B. Shockley.

Mr. T. B. Shockley died Monday afternoon about six o’clock.  He had been an invalid for several years, indeed so low has he been that his friends were not surprised at the announcement of his death.

Mr. Shockley has long been a resident of our town and for a number of years a successful merchant, until a failure in health caused him to entirely abandon any kind of business pursuit.  His life was that of a pure honest citizen, ever striving to find the right and then doing it.
