Mrs. L.J. Shinall, of 115 Courant Street, died Tuesday in a local hospital following an extended illness.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, John H. Shinall, and Tom Lusk, both of Cartersville; one sister Lelia Smith, Kennesaw; one brother, San, Marietta; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the First Baptist Church of White with the Rev. Johnny Gwinn and the Rev. Howard Merritt officiating.  Interment will be in the Shinall Cemetery.

She was a native of Cherokee County and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David P. Lusk.
