Mrs. Armaretta H. Shinall, 80, 106 Summit Street, Cartersville died Wednesday, Mary 25, 1983, following a lengthy illness.

A daughter of the late William Martin Howell and Eva Knight Howell, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Jefferson Shinall.

Survivors include four sons, Loyd Shinall of Cartersville; Jack and Joel Shinall, both of Atlanta; Wayne Shinall of Los Angeles, California; one daughter, Joan Godwin, Cartersville; three sisters, Myrtle Abernathy, Emergene Brooks and Gertrude Shinall, all of Cartersville; four brothers, Hoyt, Harold, Herman and Hubert Howell, all of Cartersville; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Center Baptist Church with the Rev. Pat Kennedy officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Denny Max Shinall, Randolph Howell, Gene Hillhouse, Stanley Warren, Jeff Morris and Martin Brooks.
