Letters of Administration. A. Y. Sheats on the estate of Picket Shiflet. *************************************** The Cartersville Express Administrator’s Sale. By virtue of an order from the Court of Ordinary of Bartow county, will be sold before the court house door in Cartersville, said county, within the legal hours of sale, on the first Tuesday in January, 1879, the following property, to-wit: The farm on which Picket Shiflett resided at the time of his death, situated on Tom’s Creek. Four miles west of Kingston, containing 180 acres, more or less, 75 acres cleared, the balance well timbered, finely watered, comfortably improved, the lands productive. Adjoining the lands of H. T. Jones, W. C. Gillane’s estate, and the Sciplis place. Sold as the property of Picket Shiflet, deceased, for the purpose of distribution. Terms: One-third cash, one third on credit of twelve months, seven percent interest from date of sale; one-third on credit of two years, seven percent interest from date of sale. Bond for titles given. This November 12, 1878
