In Kingston on Aug. 30th, little Mary Lou Sheats, daughter of Capt. and Mrs. A. Y. Sheats. She died after a short illness from throat disease in the seventh year of her age. Being the only daughter she was fondly doted on upon by her parents and was a child of remarkable gentleness and lovableness of character. That she was much beloved was attested by the large number of friends who visited her when sick, and attended upon the burial services which occurred Monday morning, Sept. 1st. This the seventh child, now rests safely with Jesus. And we trust the stricken family may find grace to comfort them in this dark hour.
