Death of Rabbi Scheuer.

Mr. Moses Scheuer received a letter from his brother Albert Monday, announcing the death of his father Rabbi Leopold Scheuer, at his home in Bruchsal, Baden, Germany.

Mr. Scheuer has been Rabbi and teacher in Bruchsal for fifty years and was held in the highest esteem and affection by his people. He was seventy-six years old at the time of his death.

He was the father of Albert, Moses, Isadore, Julius and Max Scheuer, all of whom are well known to our people and stand in the front rank of our mercantile circles.

The sympathy of their many friends in this section go out to them in their sad bereavement.
