Death of Mrs. Satterfield.

Mrs. J. H. Satterfield died at the home of her son, Mr. W. J. Satterfield, in Rome, on Sunday afternoon. She had been in bad health for quite awhile and though everything was done that could be done for her she passed away at the time stated.

Her remains were brought to this city Monday and were buried in Oak Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Satterfield was the mother of Mrs. J. C. Wofford, of this city and Mrs. Harry Rawlins and Mr. W. J. Satterfield, of Rome. Her husband, Mr. J. H. Satterfield, preceded her in death some years ago.

She was a Christian lady, with charitable, generous and kind nature and had many friends.
