Edward A. (Bud) Satterfield, 82, of White, died Friday, February 11, 1994.

He was born June 25, 1911 in Cherokee County, a son of G.M. Satterfield and Sally Lipscomb Satterfield, a U.S. Army Air Force veteran, having served in World War II, a retired mechanic and service station operator in White, a member of the Cartersville Masonic Lodge #63 and a Royal Arch Mason, #144 and a member of Peeples Valley Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by wife, Flora Morris Satterfield, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Joel (Bessie) Alexander of White, Fate Satterfield of White, sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and Elbert Alexander of White, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Sue Satterfield of Cartersville, Josh and Irene Satterfield of Cartersville, Josh and Irene Satterfield of White and Orb and Alice Satterfield of White and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 13 at 2 p.m. from chapel of Owen Funeral Home with S.A. King and the Rev. Carter Payne officiating.  Interment was in the Stamp Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers were nephews, Roger Alexander, Jerry Max Satterfield, Billy Wayne Satterfield, Robbie Holmes, Garner Atchley and Randy Holmes.
