Mrs. Annie Satterfield.
Popular Young Matron Passes Away Last Week After Brief Illness.

Mrs. Annie Satterfield died at her home, on Market street last Friday morning at about eleven o’clock.  Her illness was of short duration and was of such a complicated nature as to baffle the best medical skill.  A surgical operation was deemed necessary in her case and though skillfully done, did not accomplish her recovery.

Mrs. Satterfield was the wife of Mr. Walter R. Satterfield and was one of the most popular young matrons in Cartersville.  She possessed a most amiable disposition, was a devoted wife, and her loss to her relatives and many friends is a great one.  She was originally Miss Annie Renfroe, daughter of the late Major W. H. Renfroe.  She leaves besides her husband, two brothers, Messrs. Robert and Percy Renfroe, and a sister, Miss Lena Renfroe.

The funeral occurred from the home Saturday, and services were conducted by Rev. G. Duval, pastor of the Methodist church.  The interment was at Oak Hill.
