Death of Mrs. S. M. Roberts.

Mrs. Roberts, wife of Mr. S. M. Roberts, died at her home in this city, at 6 o’clock Tuesday evening.

Mrs. Roberts had been in bad health for several years and her death was not an unexpected event. She was a member of the Baptist church and was a good Christian woman.

Mrs. Roberts leaves her husband and one child, Mrs. Lee Garwood of Atlanta to mourn her loss. The latter came up a few days ago and was with her mother when she died.

Mrs. Roberts was fifty-four years old and was married to Mr. S. M. Roberts about thirty years ago. The funeral service will be held at the house on East Market street, this morning at ten o’clock, conducted by Rev. W. H. Patterson, and interment will follow at Oak Hill cemetery.
