Miss Roberts Dies.
Well Known Lady Passes Away At Her Home on Erwin Street Thursday.

Miss Hannah Roberts died at her home on Erwin street Thursday morning, July 15.

Miss Roberts was born at Madisonville, Tenn., Oct. 1836.  She moved to Cartersville right after the close of the war, her parents having left their home in Tennessee on account of the unsettled condition of the country after the war.

She had been a member of the Methodist church since she was fourteen years old, was devoted to her church and everything that pertained to good work.  She was loyal Christian woman, always good to the needy and lived a pure Christian life.

Miss Roberts is survived by the following brothers and sisters.  Messrs. W. W. and Thomas Roberts, and Misses Laura and Effie Roberts.

The funeral took place from her residence Friday afternoon at 4:30 o’clock and interment took place at Oak Hill cemetery.
