Mrs. Addie Roberts, the widow of R. C. Roberts, died in this city on last Friday afternoon, after a long and painful illness.  Her health had been poor for years and her death would not have been unexpected at any time in the past three months.  She was a member of the Methodist church and had been for a number of years.  She bore her affliction with great patience and her end was peace.  Her funeral occurred at the Methodist church Saturday afternoon at 4 o’clock.  The services were conducted by the pastor of that church.  She leaves two fatherless daughters.
