Last Sunday the remains of Mrs. Nancy Reid, who died in Atlanta on the 10 th, were brought to Kingston by her three daughters and son, for burial. Kind friends met the party at the depot and the corpse was carried to the Baptist church where the funeral services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Barrett, the pastor. After the services a large number went to the cemetery and the body was buried. Mrs. Reid was a former citizen of Kingston. She was 54 years old. She leaves three daughters and one son and many relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
