“Bartow County—Kingston.”

It is with sorrow that I report another sad and sudden death, and this time, a beautiful young lady, Miss Mamie Randall, daughter of Mr. J. J. Randall, of this vicinity. She died in Rome Monday morning at 3 o’clock. When the intelligence reached Kingston we were loth to believe it. She went to Rome a few days since in company with her sister, Mrs. Mabry, and had a very critical surgical operation performed, from the effects of which she died. She was a pure, lovely, Christian young lady. The funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. E. England. A large number of our citizens followed her remains to the cemetery. The bereaved ones have the sympathies of the entire community.
