Mr. Drew Ramsey.

Popular Young Man Dies at Euharlee Last Week.

After suffering great agony and pain for four weeks with that unpretending fortitude and patience which was so characteristic of his life, Mr. Drew Ramsey passed away last Tuesday at 6:50 p. m. Mr. Drew was the oldest son of Mrs. Lewis Ramsey, of Euharlee, Ga. He was born in Bartow county, Ga., and was 30 odd years old, and although much of this time he had lived in Kentucky and Missouri, but the larger part was spent in Georgia. He was raised in Bartow county and at the time of his death was living at Euharlee, where he made friends without number for he was a true man and with his congenial nature and sociability, he was loved and admired by every one who knew him. He leaves a mother, four sisters and two brothers to mourn their loss, besides his many friends who can never tell the loss they sustain nor express their deep feeling of sorrow caused by his death, but will fondly cherish a loving memory of him. Although hard to bear does not express the sad feeling brought by his death to each heart of his sisters, brothers, mother and friends, we all will bow in humble submission to the hand of the Almighty, when we remember that it was the strong hand of death that has taken him from among us, we will not think that it was a cruel hand, but more fitly say that it was not only a strong hand, but a tender, loving hand, for indeed his suffering was great and death was a sweet relief to him. His friends extend their heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved ones at home.

“Sister, brother, mother, grieve no more,

Dear ones, grieve no more,

Believe that I am happier far

Than e’er I was before.

I have felt a world where woe and sin

Swell on words as a river

And gained a world where I shall rest

In peace and joy forever.”

A Friend.
