Tribute of Respect.

Cartersville Lodge, No. 101, June 7, 1857

Whereas an overruling Providence has been pleased to remove from our midst our brother, WILLIAM H. PUCKETT, by which afflicting dispensation the fraternity has lost one of its ornaments, and his parents an obedient and dutiful son.  Therefore be it

Resolved, That we sincerely sympathize with the parents of our deceased brother, and tender them our heartfelt condolence in this their hour of affliction.
Resolved, That the member so this Lodge wear the usual badge of mourning for the space of thirty days.
Resolved, That a copy of this preamble and resolutions be furnished the parents of our deceased brother, and one to the Cassville Standard for publication, and that they be entered at length on the minutes of this Lodge.
