In our last issue we inadvertently failed to notice the death of a former townsman. Col. J. W. Pritchett died at his home in Atlanta on Saturday night, the 28th ult., and his remains were brought here for interment the following day. Col. Pritchett was a gallant soldier and clever gentleman who had many friends in this section. Of late years he had been conducting a successful law business in Atlanta.
