Died in New Orleans.

Mr. Ormond Pinkerton, a telegraph operator well known and former resident of Cartersville, died at New Orleans, of typhoid fever, on Saturday, August 27th. His remains were interred in New Orleans. His brother, Mr. Paul Pinkerton, was with him when he died. His mother, who resides with her brother, Col. O. N. Starr, at Calhoun, never heard of his death until after he was buried, and was much overcome on receiving the sad intelligence.
