Death of a Good Citizen.

Died at his home near Pinelog, in this county, in the 76th year of his age, on last Thursday morning, Mr. Levi Pierce.  The deceased was a mason of excellent standing and was buried under the auspices of the Pinelog Lodge last Friday, a crowd of 500 people being present at the burial.  He was a good citizen and had been a patient from cancer for many years and spent a fortune endeavoring to be cured of his terrible malady, but without success.  His death is greatly lamented in his community as well as over the county generally.
