An Estimable Lady Dead.

Mrs. L. M. Patillo, the aged mother of Messrs. R. M. and G. A. Patillo, died at the home of the former in this city, on Tuesday night of last week, 2nd inst. She was seventy-nine years of age, had been in rather feeble health for a number of years, but the crisis came at the end of a very short severe spell.

She has been for sixty years a dutiful member of the Methodist church, and was known as a kind hearted good lady and her life examples will be a priceless heritage to those she leaves behind to mourn her loss.

She lived for a number of years at Marietta before coming to Cartersville as her permanent home. Her remains were interred at Oak Hill cemetery.
