Sarah Nelson, an old colored paralytic woman, living in one of Col. T. W. Milner’s tenant houses, caught fire last Thursday night, and was fatally burned, from the effects of which she died one day this week. She was sitting in front of the open fire place when by some means her dress caught fire. Her screams alarmed the whole town and a large crowd gathered at the house. Her sufferings were terrible, and in her case death was a relief.
