Died on the morning of June 4th, 1880, William Owen, little son of Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Mountcastle, aged 1 year, 4 months and 4 days.

We deeply sympathize with the bereaved parents in this, their first affliction, and can only point to that Savior, who has promised to “bear our griefs and carry our sorrows.”

“I take little lambs,” said He,

And lay them in my breast;

Protection they shall find in me,

In Me be ever blest.

“Death may the bands of life unloose,

But can’t dissolve my love,

Millions of infant souls compose

The family above.”
