ROBERT EDGAR. – Died, at Cartersville, Bartow county Georgia, March 9th, 1874, Robert Edgar, infant son of A. F. and M. J. MORRISON, aged one month and six days.  It was a sad bitter hour, when the last faint flickering gleam of life and hope went out together, and the little cheek lay cold and pallid on the pillow, and all was over.  The pleading eyes were closed in death, and the little dimpled hands, now cold and white, were folded for the dreamless sleep.

Our’s the pain, and his the joy;
Our’s the mourning and the weeping,
His the life with only alloy;
His the city, pure and golden,
Our’s the earth-life stained with sin;
His the green field and the gardens,
Where the angels enter in.”
