The Reverend Virgil Moore, 84, of Wingfoot Trail, Cartersville, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Stoner Chapel Baptist Church in Adairsville with the Revs. Emmitt Burgess and Stephen Moore officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Fairmount. The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home Friday, Feb. 25 from 6 until 9 p.m. Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, is in charge of the arrangements.[Re-printed with permission from The Daily Tribune News in an effort to help preserve history.] |
