Miss Effie Roberts went down to Acworth yesterday morning to attend the funeral of her friend Miss Sallie Moore, of that city.

Mr. J. W. Vaughan welcomed the arrival of a new visitor in the person of a ten pound baby boy at his home last Saturday, and is receiving the congratulations of his friends.
