James T. Moore, 88, of 79 Howard St. Kingston, died Monday, March 22, 1999, at Cartersville Medical Center. He was born Sept. 19, 1910, in Bartow County, son of the late Conn Moore and Pauline Vincent Moore. Mr. Moore was an inspector for Lockheed. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jessie Gravley Moore; one son, Edward Moore; and one sister. Survivors include three daughters, Betty Jolly, Peggy Burton and Imogene Hood, all of Kingston; one sister, Edna Sailors of Cartersville; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Bradford Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Kingston City Cemetery. Grandsons and Joey Tew will serve as pallbearers. They are asked to meet at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home at 1:15 p.m. Thursday. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
