“Brief Local Items.”

A little child of John Mitchell, section foreman on the W. & A. Railroad, died at its parents’ home at Cass Station Tuesday night.

December 8, 1898 Page 8:

“Cass Station.” On Wednesday morning, November 23d, the little infant of Mr. J. T. Mitchell’s died of pneumonia, and was buried at the family burying ground at Stamp Creek, on the day following. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved parents of little Toy, as she was called.
