Mr. Robert McEwen.

At the home of his nephew, Mr. Charles McEwen in this city this aged gentleman breathed his last on Friday morning last. He was born and raised in Tenn., where he was much esteemed. He was a member of the Presbyterian church and for a number of years was deacon in second Presbyterian church of Knoxville. About ten years ago he had the misfortune to lose his sight, an affliction he bore with much resignation and fortitude. His remains were taken to Athens, Tenn., for interment.
