West Adairsville. On Friday morning, the 11th instant, as the king of day was lighting up the eastern horizon and the birds were caroling their morning songs, the gentle spirit of little Ella, the twenty months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher McElreath was wafted to heaven. She was sick only four days but all that loving hands could do for the little sufferer could not stay the ravages of disease. About two hours later on the same day little Dock, the two year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Simeon Gwin received the summons “Come home” after four weeks of intense suffering. The children were cousins. Their lives were brief, but their troubles and sufferings are over and they are waiting for the loved ones left behind. The bereaved parents have our heartfelt sympathy. |
