Bennie Franklin, the young son of Mr. B.F. McCoy, died in Atlanta on Saturday and was brought up on Monday, and was buried at New Hope.  He was the only son of his father, his loss is keenly felt, and is due to a relapse from measles.  From the same cause, Sammie, young son of Rev. Marshall A. McCoy has been two weeks, at the hospital in Atlanta and having his case, assumed the form of an abscess in the back of the head, a surgical operation, critical in nature and result was necessitated, from which however, his recovery is hoped, while his father is lying at the home of his brother, Ben. F. McCoy, (now resident in Atlanta,) prostrate with an acute and painful attack of rheumatism.  It is sincerely to be hoped both the sufferers may soon be in condition to be brought home.  The family is indeed afflicted and has the sympathies of the community.
