In Floyd county on the 16th inst., Mrs. Sarah McConnell, relic of the late Judge Jas. McConnell, of Cobb county, in the 52nd year of her age. Scarcely six months have passed since her husband, the partner of her life for sixty-three years, passed away [Age given above must be incorrect if she was married for 63 years.] Not long did she have to wait for her Master’s call to that home where is no night and parting is unknown. The deceased leaves five children, among whom are Mrs. Uriah Stephens, of this place and Mrs. H. P. Lumpkin of Cedartown. |
