Horribly Mangled. The Rome Hustler tells the harrowing story of the death of Cleo McClendon last Saturday as follows: His body cut in half. That was the horrible fate of Cleo McLendon (sic) yesterday morning. Mr. McLendon was about 19 years of age and a son of Mr. W. S. McLendon, of East Rome.
