“Brief Local Items.”

Little Miss Nannie Matthews, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Matthews, died yesterday morning, after a lingering illness. She was only seven months old, but in that short time, had endeared herself to her fond parents, and it was hard to give the little one up. Her remains will be laid to rest at Oak Hill cemetery this morning at eight o’clock.
