Mrs. Deloma E. Rampley Massey, age 67, of Route 3, Cartersville, died Thursday, April 13, 1978, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Massey was a native of Bartow County, was a member of the Atco Baptist Church and was a housewife.

A daughter of the late James H. Elkins and Ester Day Elkins, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Massey, in 1975, and is survived by one son, Jimmy Rampley of Cartersville; trhee step-daughters, Mrs. Louise Rampley of Cartersville, Mrs. Ida Groce of Cartersville, and Mrs. Diane Cannon of Chattanooga; two step-sons, Harold and Tommy Massey, both of Cartersville; one sister, Mrs. Dacas Barron of Cartersville; one brother, W.H. Elkins of Smyrna; 12 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday from the Chapel of the Owen Funeral Home with the Revs John Agnew and Danny May officiating.  Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be W.T. Evans, Sonny Rampley, James Barker, Edward and Howell Elkins.
