William J. Martin Buried Here Tuesday

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Zion Hill Baptist Church for William J. (Uncle Bill) Martin, 83, who died at his home Sunday night following a short illness.  The services were conducted by the Rev. Lee Black.

Surviving Mr. Martin were his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Bertie Batterson; Mrs. Eva James, Mrs. Evie Bell, all of Cartersville; and Mrs. Lelia Martin of Atlanta; seven sons, Mack of Marietta; G. A., L. V., R. J., A. J., R. D. and B. E. Martin, all of Bartow County; four brothers, five sisters, and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
