The remains of Judge Willis Henry (familiarly known as “Ned”) Martin, were recently brought from Florence, Ala., where he had resided, and buried at New Hope.  He was in the 27th year of his age—having been born June 4th, 1863.  He grew up a capable miner in the ore banks and, was, at the time of his last illness, night fireman at a stove factory.  When hardly more than of legal age, he was elected justice of the peace of this district.  He moved to Alabama some five or six years ago, and leaves a wife and two children, one an infant.
