Mr. William Ernest Lumpkin, 78, of 80 Covered Bridge Road, Kingston, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2000, at Euharlee Baptist Church, with Rev. Harley Gayton and Rev. Randy Postell officiating.  Mr. Lumpkin will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
