Kingston:

Mr. G. P. Lumpkin, after a year or more of great suffering, died at the residence of Capt. H. S. Crawford December 23d, and his remains were interred in Kingston cemetery and now rest by the side of loved ones. George Lumpkin was known by every one in Kingston and vicinity as a good man and was loved by all who knew him. He leaves a wife and one bright little boy, beside many dear relatives and scores of admiring friends to mourn his loss.
