Death of Mrs. Mary H. Lowman.

The above named lady, mother of Messrs. Lowman, of the Etowah foundry in this place, died on the 4th inst., of a complication of diseases, in the 74th year of her age.  She was a native of South Carolina.  She had resided in Cartersville since November last.  She was a member of the M. E. Church, South, and her funeral was preached by Rev. Mr. Baxter.  We deeply sympathize with the bereaved family.  Her death was a gain to her however great the loss to her children.  But these old people are passing away one by one, and when they die it but admonishes us of our end.  May we all be prepared for death as they are.
