“To thee, the heavens in thy nativity,
Adjudged an olive branch, and laurel crown.”

We regret to announce the death of AGNES, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. LEVY.  She died on Monday night last, having suffered much.  There is a truth “that in life we are in the midst of death.”—The parents, though, may well console themselves that little Agnes is removed to a happier and better sphere.

“Immortal its spirit, a flower which now,
In Paradise, fast by the tree of life,
Began to bloom; but soon her innocence
Removed her to heaven, where it grew,
And flowers aloft, around the fount of life.”
