Mr. C. J. Leachman, formerly of this place, but now of Davittes, died at his home on Monday morning of last week at 3 o’clock of paralysis.  He was an old soldier, belonging to the 18th Georgia.  He fought four years.  He was 64 years of age.  He leaves a wife and a number of children to mourn his loss.  His remains were brought here and interred at the family cemetery Tuesday.
