Mrs. Lackey, the wife of Mr. W. A. Lackey, died last Monday morning at her home in the southern part of town.  She was originally a Miss Dowis, daughter of Mr. Stephen Dowis, and possessed a great many friends.  The funeral took place Tuesday and the interment was at Oak Hill.
