"Mrs. Sarah A. Kingsbery Died Christmas Day
Remains of Mother of Mrs. R. B. O. England Are Carried to Cartersville For Burial Leaving at 8:30 o'clock Monday morning the remains of Mrs. Sarah A. Kingsbery, mother of Mrs. R. E. O. England, were carried to Cartersville, Ga., for burial. The following gentlemen served as pallbearers, bearing the remains from the residence to the train: J. K. Polk, J. V. Wellborn, A. J. Joy, C. T. James, J. R. P. Cochran and J. T. McDonald. The death of Mrs. Kingsbery, who was 83 years of age, occurred at 10 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. England, at 185 East Fair street. She was a woman of beautiful character, being a member of the Methodist church, and she leaves a ___ of friends. She is survived by five daughters and two sons, as follows: Mrs. B. F. Godfrey, Mrs. S. K. Pritchett and Mrs. R. B. O. England, all of this city; Mrs. C. H. Strickland, of Fairmount, Ga., and Mrs. J. K. Ramsauer, of Rockmart, Ga.; S. W. Kingsbery, of Santa Anna, Texas, and F. S. Kingsbery, of Dixon, Wyoming. ***************************************** (Errata - The two sons' initials are incorrect. "S. W. Kingsbery, of Santa Anna" was H. W. Kingsbery (Henry Williams Kingsbery), and "F. S. Kingsbery, of Dixon, Wyoming" was T. S. Kingsbery (Thomas Stokely Kingsbery).)
