OBITUARY.

Died, in Bartow county on the 28th of June, MRS. HENRIETTA F. JONES, in the twenty-second year of her age.  She leaves a husband and two little children to mourn their loss.  She was the daughter of Mr. Elliott Moore and Mrs. Anna Moore.  She was sick but a few days, her disease being violent in its nature and rapid in its work of death; consequently she said but little in her last sickness.  Her friends, however, have great hope in her death, for at the age of fifteen years she sought and embraced religion, joined the M. E. church South, and remained true to her vows and obligations until she died.  She was greatly beloved by her acquaintances, friends and relatives.  She was an obedient daughter, an affectionate and kind wife, a loving and devoted mother.  But parents, husband and children need not weep without comfort, for it is written in the Scriptures that precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.  Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord; yea, saith the Spirit, for they rest from their labors.
