“Taylorsville.”

Mrs. Jolly, consort of Mr. James R. Jolly, died at her home two miles from this place on last Saturday.  Her death was not unexpected, as she had been a sufferer for several months with consumption.  She was a strict member of the Baptist church and universally loved by all who knew her.

********************

Mrs. James R. Jolly departed this life at her home, near Stilesboro, last Saturday morning, January 2nd.  She has been in ill health for some time, but bore her afflictions with exceeding patience and resignation.

She was a lovely woman in all relations of life, a devoted wife, mother and friend.  She was in the prime of life, and her loss is a great affliction to her family.  She was buried at Raccoon Church on Monday, Jan. 4th, and there are many sad and sympathizing hearts in our community who mourn the departure of this excellent lady.  --- A Friend.
