“ Bartow County—Adairsville.”

The mortal remains of C. O. Jackson, whose death was so tragic Friday night last in a railroad wreck, were carried to Salem for interment Saturday. Those who knew Mr. Jackson while he was serving his fellowmen had naught to say against him, and among his associates he had many warm friends who with others mourn his loss. He was a member of one of the orders of railroad men and a large delegation from different divisions were sent down to attend the funeral. Mr. Munro Jackson, of this place, is an uncle of the deceased.
