An Ex-Citizen of Bartow.

The body of Mr. G. W. Irwin arrived at this place from Cedartown last Monday, accompanied by his two sons, and was conveyed at once to Stamp Creek district and interred at the Stamp Creek church.

Mr. Irwin was once a citizen of Bartow, living in Stamp Creek district from ’48 to ’65, when he moved to Polk County, locating on a farm about five miles from Cedartown.

His death was a result of a number of infirmities coupled with old age, he being 74 years old. He was a member of the Baptist church, was a man of splendid integrity and was much esteemed both in his old and new home.
